Hopie's 1st Haircut.

She did surprisingly well. We just got her hair trimmed so it really doesn't look much different than it did before. She really did not want to get out of the jeep. And her baby had to sit by her the entire time!

THE BAPTISM OF HOPE AND ALDEN

Today we had the kids baptized at our church The Turning Pointe. They were dressed so cute, and acted like such good children today despite the very long day we had. The pictures are way out of order but please excuse that. I wanted to get them up tonight for everyone to see....but I am way too tired to really put a lot of effort into putting them into the correct order!! Alden's Machine

Alden was given his SleepMonitor today. The doctor thinks he may have sleep apnea...so he was put on this monitor so they can track how often he is having apnea attacks. So far he has been asleep the entire time he has been on it and doesn't really seem to mind the whole thing. He has 2 little sticky thinks under his arms and they come out the bottom of his onesie. Hope has inspected the entire machine and seems to think it is OKAY for her "bobby" to use. We still don't know how long he is going to have to use this machine. We will be seeing an ear,nose,and throat doctor soon...so maybe he will have some answers. Until then any prayers for baby Alden are welcomed.

Tired Kids

This is how the kids look after a day at Nonna's house! They are just totally wiped out!! I dont think we had been home for more than a half hour...and I found Hope up on the bed with Alden...snoozing away! CUTE!

Lazy Saturday

We pretty much had a lazy saturday at the house today. We spent most of the day outside in the back yard. Daddy and Paba wanted to get a yard barn built...but I think Hopie was in their way most of the time. She really wanted to help! This evening we sat out by the lake and watched the fish eat the bread Daddy and Hopie were feeding them. And we have a big black bird that has made our lake its home, he is fun to watch also.

My Best Girl

We were trying on her baptism dress to make sure it fit and she wanted to see what she looked like....so we were looking at her dress in the bathroom mirror....and daddy caught us! The kids are going to be baptized on September 21st! I can hardly wait! It is going to be a very blessed day, and they are going to look adorable. Needless to say she really liked her dress. But I think her favorite part was her shoes, which you cant see in this picture, but are very cute.

Baby Ballerina

Hope has been so excited since we came home from MiMi's house...MiMi gave Hopie a ballerina outfit!!! (shoes and everything!!) She has been wanting to run around in them since monday, so today I finally put it on her and she loved it. Well all except the hair bow. She hates having her hair up!
